In order to maintain their edge in the very competitive industry, the life insurance industry is constantly evolving and renewing itself. And one of the latest developments in the industry is the Accelerated Protection Benefit. This was especially created to help those who might urgently need access to their benefits.

TAL Life Insurance Hero

The Accelerated Protection in a life insurance policy provides that all or part of the policy’s proceeds will be paid to the insured when a specified event has occurred. Specified events can be defined as the diagnosis of a long term illness, need for a long term care, and a medically incapacitating or disabling condition.

The TAL Life Insurance Accelerated Protection at a Glance

TAL Life Insurance Accelerated Protection is a policy that lets you organise your life insurance so that it works for you. The Accelerated Protection can be purchased as a standalone policy or through superannuation. You can purchase three types of cover under this policy – Life Insurance, Critical Illness, and Total and Permanent Disability.

The Life Insurance cover pays you a lump sum to your beneficiary in the event of your death or you have become terminally ill. The Critical Illness Cover, on the other hand, gives you cover upon diagnosis of specified medical conditions, such as cancer, heart attack, or stroke. The TPD Cover pays you a lump sum in the event you become totally or permanently disabled and unable to work.

TAL Life Insurance Accelerated Protection is backed by Tower Australia whose roots can be traced back in 1869. In 2009, it became the Best Life Insurance Company by the Australian Banking and Finance Magazine Insurance Awards.

The TAL Life Insurance Accelerated Protection Benefits

If you purchase the Life Insurance Plan, the Critical Illness and TPD is attached as a benefit. Furthermore, if you purchase the Critical Illness Insurance, the TPD Insurance is attached as a benefit.
